

I had no reason to be nervous because 24 out of 25 children came up for the right color (happy librarian dance)!!! I did have to ask children and parents to sit back down after they were done because they all wanted to stay at the board.


Because of this I was nervous to have a flannel board where children actually came up to the board. I preface flannel boards by asking parents to gently discourage their child from playing with the pieces unless I specifically ask but that doesn’t seem to be happening.
